Our Story

At Amelia Island Vacations by Dunlop Property Management, our story begins with a simple promise: to welcome every guest like family and care for every property as if it were our own.

For more than a decade, we’ve been rooted in the heart of Amelia Island—walking its beaches, exploring its hidden trails, and celebrating its rich history alongside our community. We know this island not just as a destination, but as a way of life. That local knowledge allows us to match every traveler with the perfect home away from home, whether it’s a cozy condo overlooking the dunes, a spacious beach house steps from the ocean, or a hidden gem near historic Fernandina Beach.

Meet the Owners

Amelia Island Vacations is proudly family-owned and operated by Brandon and Tarah Dunlop. Hospitality is woven into their story—together, they previously owned and operated the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, a celebrated 25-room boutique inn renowned for its service and charm.

Under their ownership, Elizabeth Pointe Lodge earned international and national recognition, including:

These honors reflect Brandon and Tarah’s commitment to excellence, personal service, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Brandon, a graduate of Wake Forest University, spent 15 years in international banking with HSBC, honing leadership and operations expertise that now strengthens the business. Tarah brings years of marketing experience in the tourism industry, blending creativity with a deep understanding of traveler expectations.

Together with their three children—Charlotte, Sadie, and Lucas—the Dunlops bring a family-centered approach to hospitality, ensuring every guest feels truly welcomed and every property is cared for with pride.
